The journey takes you north to the magical blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains, a photographer's paradise. Then, delve into history at the Roman ruins of Volubilis and the imperial city of Meknes, before immersing yourself in the spiritual capital, Fes.
Finally, traverse the Middle Atlas mountains, passing Ifrane (Little Switzerland) and the cedar forests of Azrou, concluding your trip with a scenic drive past the majestic Ouzoud Waterfalls before arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech.
5-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen
Visit Hassan II Mosque. Drive to Rabat (Hassan Tower). Continue north to the Blue City of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 2: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
Free morning in Chefchaouen. Visit Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes gates. Arrive in Fes for overnight in a traditional Riad.
Day 3: Fes Sightseeing Tour
Full day guided tour of Fes Medina. Visit Al Quaraouiyine University, Tanneries, and souks. Second night in Fes.
Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Beni Mellal
Drive through the Middle Atlas. Stop in Ifrane and the Cedar Forest (monkeys). Scenic drive to Beni Mellal via the Atlas foothills. Overnight in Beni Mellal.
Day 5: Beni Mellal - Ouzoud - Marrakech
Visit the spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls. Hike or boat ride. Continue to Marrakech. Drop-off at your hotel/riad. End of trip.
