The centerpiece of your journey is a deep dive into the Sahara Desert at Merzouga. With two nights in the desert region, you have time to truly disconnect, ride camels into the sunset, and experience the nomadic way of life.
The return journey completes the loop via the dramatic landscapes of the Anti-Atlas mountains and the Draa Valley, home to millions of date palms and ancient kasbahs like Nkob and Agdz. This trip offers the perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation.
6-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Dades
Cross the High Atlas Mountains. Guided tour of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Drive through Skoura and Valley of Roses to Dades.
Day 2: Dades - Todra Gorges - Merzouga
Walk in the Todra Canyons. Visit Erfoud fossils. Arrive in Merzouga for a sunset camel trek. Night in Luxury Desert Camp.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert Exploration
4x4 tour of the dunes. Visit Khamlia village for Gnawa music. Tea with Nomads. Free afternoon or optional quad biking. Hotel stay.
Day 4: Merzouga - Rissani - Nkob - Agdz
Visit Rissani market. Drive the southern route through Alnif and Nkob (Village of 45 Kasbahs). Overnight in Agdz palm grove.
Day 5: Agdz - Ouarzazate - Fint Oasis
Explore Draa Valley. Visit Cinema Studios in Ouarzazate. Afternoon walk in the peaceful Fint Oasis. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Telouet - Marrakech
Visit the impressive Telouet Kasbah in the mountains. Return to Marrakech via the Ounila Valley and Tichka pass.
